ZD-Racing EX-07: Test on road

Video

Speed runs and first impressions.

Hello guys.
This is, as many of you already know, the controversial ZD Racing EX-07. Basically it’s the (almost) perfect reproduction of the Ken Block’s Ford Mustang Hoonicorn. I have to say that I loved this car since I saw the first reviews, and in my wish list I planned to get the roller version. Instead my sweet wife for my birthday made me this surprise, she bought the RTR version. Could I say no? Of course not! When I unboxed it, I was happy like a kid. Objectively, it’s one of the most good looking RC cars on the market even if some users claimed poor quality on electronic such as ESC burned up and stock batteries problems. For what concerns me, maybe I have been lucky this time, but no issue at all so far. The 3s 5000ma 35C lipos are both well balanced on charging, and the internal resistance is below 10mOHM totally.
Getting some quick calculations, these batteries should supply about 5Ax35C=175Amp continuos. If we remove another 20% to have a more reliable value, we got a 140Amps continuos supply. That is pretty fair considering the ESC is 150Amps continuos tolerant. So here I am on a quick test on my favourite RC car speciality, the speed runs. I hope in further videos to have a 360 degrees review and test of this car, that is really good on drifting mainly. But as I said, I will have to push it in the right way to have a complete and objective opinion.
So far what I can say is.. It’s AWESOME!
